This picture was done in 3D Studio Max with only light touchup in Photoshop. All the models and textures were created by me with the exception of the baby which is a standard Character Studio mesh, and the floor texture which is just the cedar fence texture repeated. The blocks were done with cubes and complicated multi-part diffuse and bump maps to make the letters stand out. The wallpaper is a texture I drew in Paint Shop Pro, as I did with the paper on the floor, using the crayon tool to write the text. Most of the geometry is only slightly modified primitive objects.
